If the day after Thanksgiving wasn’t the start of the holiday season for you, the beginning of December is about time.
DiploDouglas and I bought a Christmas tree over the weekend (even though it was 65degrees) and carried it home 1.4 miles (along with a mulled wine makings, a metal tree stand, and a bag of miscellaneous Lowe’s supplies). We didn’t get to cut it down ourselves, but we put some legitimizing work into it.
And we put some dinosaur ornaments on it.
We need more!
(L gave me a particularly amazing sparkly T-rex last week!)
Whether or not you celebrate Christmas you probably enjoy Charlie Brown.
Here’s a lovely rendition of “Christmas Time is Here” as done by Dark Dark Dark. She has the perfect voice for it.
It’s accompanied by pictures from a Dark Dark Dark coloring contest earlier in the year. Some of them are pretty fun (Batman! Superman! and is that Waldo?)
